Abstract

The goal of this project is to assess the feasibility of a self made portable microbial fuel cell as an alternative to generating power using alternative fuel sources i.e. bacteria in wastewater. Microbial Fuel Cells have emerged in the recent years as the next potential power source as supported by many research documents and journals. This project focuses on the production of sustainable energy with waste water from nearby village. All of the research done are based on the latest development in this technology and will be used as reference for the realization phase in the next phase of project. A project outline is also presented with a risk analysis on building a small MFC model and to generate power.
